Velayudham (Tamil: வேலாயுதம்) is a 2011 Tamil action-masala film[2] directed by M. Raja.[3] It stars Vijay, Hansika Motwani, Genelia D'Souza and Saranya Mohan in lead roles. Produced by V. Ravichandran's Aascar Films, the story revolves around an ordinary milkman, trying to eradicate corruption.[4] The film was released on October 26, 2011 to mixed reviews from critics, but became a commercial success. The film successfully completed 100 days on February 2 ,2012 and was declared the biggest hit of 2011
